Charter Schools honored by YLC with "Role Model" Awards
The Young Leadership Council of New Orleans has selected as Role Models for 2008: John Alford of Langston Hughes Academy and NOLA 180; Arthur Hardy, Mardi Gras Historian, publisher of Mardi Gras Guide , CEO of Arthur Hardy Enterprises, Inc. and Founding Board Member at Warren Easton High School; and Kathy Riedlinger, CEO of Lusher Charter School.
The YLC honors individuals who have distinguished themselves by promoting a positive attitude and unyielding desire to enhance our quality of life, taking an effective and vigorous leadership role in the community, striving to unite our community in collaborative efforts for its future prosperity and making significant contributions in their specific fields of endeavor.
