Mission Statement: The mission of Audubon Charter School is to provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment in which high academic standards, a comprehensive arts education and the celebration of individuality and diversity enable each child to achieve his or her potential as a learner, a person and contributing member of society.

Registration Process:
complete application and participate in required observation/information meeting

Requirements: admission for grades PK-2 by lottery; admission for grades 3-8 based on a scoring matrix which includes prior classroom grades, standardized test scores and attendance; preference for entrance to French School to French nationals and students transferring from another accredited French school; preference to siblings of current Audubon students.

Application Deadline: January 12, 2007

Transportation: RTA tokens provided to students

Health Services: school nurse, social worker
Before + Aftercare: before care $25-$35 per month; aftercare $45-$85 per month (cost based on part-time or full-time service)

Special Education Model: inclusion (full-time special education coordinator)

Special Programs: Montessori School (PK-8), French School (PK-6) accredited by the French Ministry of Education, talented in visual arts program, talented in theater program

Extracurricular Activities:
Creative Movement, Scouts, Arts Reach after school enrichment (including visual art, computer graphics, ballet, tai kwon do, chess, etc.)
