Aspiring Leaders
SLC calls Principals to “tap” teachers who want to train as the next generation of school leaders through the innovative Aspiring Leaders Program. The year-long program requires teachers to attend six Saturday sessions during the academic school year to focus on building a stronger school improvement plan, inviting critique into school administration, and designing school technology components. Aspiring Leaders is a serious examination of leadership, management, curriculum implementation, and supervision skills which propel the participants to envision themselves as future Principals or school leaders. Class size is limited to 50 enrollees.
