Research
SLC funds a full-time Director of Research Programs and staff. A Research Advisory Council helps oversee the office’s direction and research agenda. The SLC Research Office promotes interactive learning: Participants evaluate and critique literature about school administration, and test theories in the actual work setting. This focus on “practicum” differentiates SLC activities from merely reading about current trends or sitting in a workshop.
