The SLC Fellows Program has a positive effect, as it strives for continuous improvement measurable by School Performance Scores (SPS).
School Performance Scores (SPS) of all SLC Fellows at Louisiana public schools in the Parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard and Plaquemines, the average is increasing steadily more than the State of Louisiana SPS average. SPS are a measure of state standardized tests given to students in public schools and scholarship students (voucher) in parochial schools. SPS is a combination of mostly LEAP and iLEAP test data with additional measures of student success.
The following graphs illustrate the steadily increasing progress measured by TerraNova Math and English Language Arts from 2011 to 2013 of student scale scores in Non-Public schools working with School Leadership Center. Each set of average scale scores follows one grade level of students from year to year.
