SLC-LI is a facet of the Fellows program which was started in 2001

as a result of Fellow input and ideas generated with our evaluator. Each new Fellow must participate as a part of their Fellowship commitment and work with their school leadership team on the design, implementation, and evaluation of their school’s annual improvement plan. The schools in these meetings work collaboratively with other SLC schools which are targeting similar school improvement services. The school teams receive facilitated training, data disaggregation services, and support for implementation and evaluation of school plans. This event is conducted on Saturdays three times during the Fellow’s first year in the program. This program represents a concerted effort to more directly connect leadership activity with school improvement through collaboration, both within and across local schools.
